Here’s the cover for my next release: Risking It, Book 2 of the Fake Boyfriend Duet. Faking It, the first book in the duet is already live, so in case you missed it, here’s the link.
Risking It will be going live late February or early March. I’m not sure yet. Either way, I’m excited for all of you to read it. Each book in the duet is completely standalone, although interconnected. If you’ve read my previous post, you already know that this book will be my last book in the wholesome young adult sub-genre. Because I’ll be exploring the world of upper young adult/new adult romance.
Already, I can’t wait to get into it. Although I’m already more than halfway done with my first NA romance book. Unlike my YA books, which are only light and novella-length, my NA books will be angstier and longer. Which is awesome, right?
Anyway, back to the main topic of this post, here’s the blurb:
He’s the one guy she’s always wanted.
Allison Turner has always been known as a goody-two-shoes. One who always plays safe and avoids risks like the plague.
Well, it’s time for a change—and agreeing to be Duane Hollis’s fake girlfriend to make his ex jealous seems like a good start as any. There’s just one problem: he’s her brother’s best friend and the boy she’s secretly in love with. Complicated doesn’t even begin to describe the situation.
Allison knows it’s totally insane and completely stupid to help Duane out, especially when her heart is at stake. But maybe, just maybe, it’s exactly what she needs to turn things around…and finally get the guy.
I’ll be sending a newsletter in a day or two. If you want to get an exclusive sneak peek of Risking It, make sure that you’ve already signed up because I’ll be sharing it there. If not, here’s the subscription link. Hurry, subscribe now!
